Signup/Request a new password trouble!

Anyone that has tried to create a new account or request a password in the past month or so has gotten a horrible error message with a big fat 404 page not found!! (Not really)

We're not exactly sure what went wrong with the signup/request a new password system but we're working on fixing it promptly! If you try it, the page will simply reload and go back to the main page..... It's annoying, we know.... However, if you wish to have an account made or you wish to request a new password please contact jackson@atomicstud.com and he will help you asap.

"Dead Man's Hand"

I know many of you are anxious about our new film; so are we! So far it has been coming along very nicely. We currently are about 1/5 maybe 1/4 done with filming, and then we're going to start composing music, editing, and all that lovely post production work that takes most of the time. The movie should be set to release in April (hopefully) without any delays, and then you'll be able to watch it here on our website in 720p HD, with menu access and everything. But if you just can't wait that long we will post the production photos for download on the projects page, to wet your appetite until release day. :)

Lots of new stuff!!!

We have released 2 new desktop backgrounds!!! And a whole bunch of new tutorials...all thanks to Dennis! Head over to the tutorials and downloads page to check out all the new stuff including the Layer masking 101 which can be found here!

New Tutorials!

When I made the Multimedia Fusion 2 Beginning Tutorial Series almost two years ago now, I never dreamed they would become so helpful to so many people around the entire world. In the first few months I made them, I knew they had become popular, but I had never really starting keeping track of the total number of views until we launched this new Atomic Studios site in July. Today, for the first time in months I looked at those statistics and was amazed at what I found out. As of this moment there have been 4921 views of the first episode of the series since we launched this new site 236 days ago. That is about 20 views of the first episode each day! And if these numbers are fairly accurate of the number of views during entire 716 days that these tutorials have been released, these tutorials have been viewed by more than 14,000 people around the world! WOW!

As we celebrate this outstanding accomplishment, we will be introducing new Adobe Photoshop tutorials written by our new addition to the Atomic Studios staff, Dennis Thompson. Dennis has already released his first few tutorials. Click here to check them out!

Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 Tutorial Series!!!

*

This is our official announcement of our new training series that I (William) will be hosting. It will be on Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. This series is coming along very well so far, and is looking good. We have around 15 chapters with an average of 5 lessons per chapter so it will be very extensive, I may also post an outline of the chapters later. This will be the first tutorial series that we will be offering on DVD as well as streamed online. The tentative release for this series is end of August, but don't get frustrated if its a little late, imagine how we feel when its not released on time. :( Anyway I'll make sure to keep you posted on how its coming along, in the meantime take a look at the picture of our DVD insert, its just a rough draft of what it will really look like, but its not too shabby. :)

In with the new, but not out with the old!

Hey, everybody we have some new things coming out in the next couple of months which may get you excited, or not. First off, Jackson and I are creating a sequel to the fun game Sort Em’ Up. For those of you who have not played Sort Em’ Up you can download it on the games page. To check on the games progress visit the projects page, we currently do not have a date set for release but should have one in the next couple of weeks.

That’s the good news, and the better news is that we are starting to make 3 video tutorials series, that will be available for purchase from our website for DVD or download, once they are done. I will be creating the Adobe Premiere CS3 tutorial series, and will be going into detail on every aspect of the program so you can become your own expert. Jackson will be creating an HTML tutorial series and a re-creation to his ever popular MMF2 tutorials; this new set of MMF2 tutorials will be even more in depth and go over all aspects of the game creation program.

Also in other news the Grossmont Honor Band concert is in the menu creation stage and finalizing, it should be released in the coming week. For more accurate dates please visit our projects page.

Stay tuned in our site for the next few weeks, to find out more info on the tutorials and games, thanks for supporting Atomic Studios.

Slight Delays

There has been a slight delay on the production of the Hillsdale Winter Concert DVDs, as we were planning to get them finished this week. This is due to issues out of our control. The cases in which the DVDs will be packaged, are taking longer than expected to ship to us.

In other news, William has decided to change the schedule of his series entitled "FilmMaker's Tips." It will no longer be released each Wednesday, but rather whenever he has time to finish them.
